Still figuring it out: Tavi Gevinson at TEDxTeen

If you don’t know who Tavi Gevinson, I don’t know where you been but I admire this girl so much since she started The Style Rookie when she was 13 and now to have her own online magazine. She is just amazing and inspiring and I look up to her so much.

Change Your Running Style to Target Different Muscle Groups

Abs: Slow down your pace slightly and run with high knees up to the chest; you can also run with knees out to the sides to target the obliques
Abs and quads: Run with straight legs, scissor kicking your feet straight in front of you.
Abs and calves: Do a running skip, kicking one knee high into the chest with each hop.
Calves: Land softly only on the balls of the feet, as if tiptoe running.
Calves and hamstrings: As you run, kick your heels into your glutes.
Hamstrings: Run backwards; alternate looking over your right and left shoulder to avoid bumping into anything.
Inner and outer thighs: Run sideways crossing your back foot over your front with each step; alternate leading with the right and left legs.
Outer thighs and glutes (aka saddlebags): Run with legs slightly wider than hips-width distance apart.

This is my dog, Lily. My sister and I bought her, without my dads permission and brought her home as a puppy about a year ago. My dad hates her, but me & my 2 sisters love her to death. This dog helps me cope with my depression and shes always great company to my sisters and I. My dad describes her as “tolerable.” Today, after having this dog for over a year, my dad is saying she needs to go, while he is angry at us for bringing her home, she has become part of the family and we can’t get rid of her, it’s too painful. After begging my dad for a while, he was still stuck on getting rid of her. I mentioned tumblr as a final option, and surprisingly he agreed to it. If I can get 200,000 notes by the end of July, we can keep her. He thinks it’s impossible, but I have faith. I’ve seen tumblr do it before. Please guys help me, I love this dog more than myself. Please oh please :c

Just so perfect and like I’ve said before Maya is amazing. She is truly one of my role models and I hope to meet her one day if it is just randomly somewhere here at home.
